Our Business System: what you get

The Primary Trading area - Each Kwik Kopy Centre is allocated a location and marketing territory, known as a Primary Trading Area (PTA). A defined PTA allows your Kwik Kopy Centre to focus on local marketing and sales activity to maximise the benefits.

Training - Initial training consists of up to four weeks in Sydney and at least one week on-site prior to opening, with additional training for Owners and employees via an ongoing training calendar.

Area Sales Manager Support - As a Kwik Kopy Franchise Owner you have access to a dedicated Area Sales Manager (ASM) who provides one-on-one local support to you on every aspect of your business.

THE ACADEMY sales portal - Exclusive to Kwik Kopy is THE ACADEMY sales portal, an online sales tool customised to your business. The portal includes actual sales to budget information to tell you how you’re tracking at all times as well as a sales forecasting tool that predicts your likely sales results each month. Kwik Kopy also Kwik Kopy Australia produces an annual financial benchmark profile, against which individual Centres may compare their progress.

Marketing - As well as national brand marketing, Kwik Kopy provides franchisees with an Annual Marketing Strategy Plan, documenting marketing activities for the forthcoming year. This includes website strategies, adwords and online marketing, SEO and traditional print marketing campaigns.

Costs and Financing

As a franchise system Kwik Kopy Australia collects an ongoing royalty fee from Franchise Owners.

Ongoing royalties are 7% of sales. Marketing levies are 2.5% of sales (made up of 1.5% of sales for national marketing and 1% of sales for local marketing which is spent by the Franchise Owner in their own PTA). Kwik Kopy Australia is an approved franchise system with a number of major banks.

To establish a new Kwik Kopy franchise you will need access to funds to cover:

  • Your initial franchising fee & deposit
  • Four weeks of training in Sydney
  • Shop fit out
  • Computer systems and software
  • Some essential equipment
  • Some initial working capital

Obviously these costs can vary depending on the final premises selected (whether it is a Greenfield site, or whether the new owner is buying an existing Centre for sale) and amount of work required to refurbish the premises (larger premises cost more to set up).
