Kwik Kopy Australia has been announced as a major sponsor of the 2016 Women in Print Australia (WIP) event.

Managing Director, David Bell says that Kwik Kopy was keen to help ensure this not-for-profit event continued to attract high calibre speakers and maintained the high standards its delegates have come to expect.

“Kwik Kopy is enormously proud to be associated with Women in Print,” he said. “The WIP events have been a great success and we hope that in our role as sponsor we not only highlight the importance of women in our organisation but in the printing industry as a whole.”

Marketing Manager, Ryan McMahon agrees – adding that the days where printing could just be thought of as a man’s world are long gone.

“Our female franchisees are one example of how more and more women are making their mark on the print industry,” he said.

“Our B2B business model which includes a strong franchise support system offers the type of business owner opportunity that appeals to many women and initiatives such as Women in Print provide the perfect opportunity to expand knowledge and networks.”

This year will see Women in Print (WIP) celebrate its ninth year as it once again hosts a Breakfast Series right around the country in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth between the 10th and 18th May 2016.

Originally an initiative of Heidelberg Graphic Equipment, WIP has evolved into a national industry-wide program, with over 2500 women taking part since the program began.

Heidelberg has done a wonderful job establishing the Women in Print program and in order to protect its future has handed over the reins in 2016 to two industry associations – Visual Connections and Printing Industries so that WIP can be owned and driven by the industry.

Heidelberg will stay on as an associate sponsor and Kwik Kopy joins IVE and Media Group as a major sponsor to ensure that Women in Print continues to feature as a much anticipated event on the Australian print sector’s annual calendar.
