Promotional sticker printing is an affordable and effective way to highlight your business. Send them off with your orders, or have them in your POS area for people to grab while making a purchase.

Giving away custom stickers to your customers and prospective customers is a great way to keep your brand in people’s minds. Plus, the right promotional sticker can turn your customer into an ambassador for your brand! If the design is right, customers will stick them to their laptops, water bottles or even cars, and you’ve instantly got a travelling advertisement for your brand – all for just a few cents a pop!

But that’s not the only way to use stickers for your business. A sticker makes a great alternative to a standard business card – and will help you stand out from the crowd at a networking event. You can also use them as product labels, or shipping labels, and a great sticker will help you turn any item into an instant promotional product.

Some of our Favourite Promotional Sticker Campaigns From Around the World

Reddit

Reddit sticker campaignThese days Reddit is one of the most visited websites in the world, in fact, this year they were able to afford to advertise at the SuperBowl, but it wasn’t always like that. In the beginning, Reddit started with an advertising budget of just $500 which they used to create promotional stickers. The promotional stickers were placed around the cities in which Reddit employees lived, and handed out to users with the request to “please sticker responsibly”. Those stickers began everything for what is now a $6 billion company.

Batman Begins

Batman sidewalk stickersTo help celebrate the launch of Batman Begins in New Zealand on TV2, television executives approved the placement of stickers around Auckland. The stickers were put on top of street lights along footpaths throughout the city and when the lights were turned on at night the batman symbol was displayed in the night sky.

Folgers Coffee

Folgers coffee stickersFolgers Coffee made creative use of the city with their sticker campaign. Folgers placed stickers of a birds-eye-view of a coffee mug over manhole covers in New York City. Holes in the sticker design allowed steam to billow through the sticker, thereby creating the illusion of steaming mugs filled with hot coffee around the city and no doubt enticing pedestrians all across the city that never sleeps.

UNICEF

Unicef sticker campaignUNICEF cleverly used a light-hearted medium (the sticker!) to bring awareness to a very serious issue. They created stickers that would camouflage on floors, and left them sticky-side-up so people would step on them without realising. When the person went to remove the sticker from their shoe they would be met with the image of a landmine and a message about the insidious danger landmines still pose for many people around the world.
