Charlie Simson, Ampliar Coaching
What were you doing prior to starting Ampliar Coaching?
I worked in policy and strategy roles across the Federal and Victorian Governments as well as in the not-for-profit sector. Before that, I worked in Public Relations.
What got you interested in Personal Coaching?
Working in those policy and strategy roles, I often found myself holding informal coaching sessions with colleagues and friends. I then decided it was time to walk the talk and went about setting up my business, Ampliar Coaching.
What do you do as a Personal Coach?
I believe in a person’s limitless potential and I know how to get them motivated, inspired and on track to achieving their dreams. I work closely with my clients to help them clarify and discover their goals, build their confidence and find reserves of motivation they didn’t know they had.
How did you start working with Kwik Kopy?
I knew a designer who helped me develop a logo and artwork for things like business cards. I sent it to my local Kwik Kopy Centre because I needed some cards printed. I had used Kwik Kopy as my printer in a previous role working for a government department.
Mike (the Owner) had always looked after me. I left a message for him and within 10 minutes he had returned my call. He liked the artwork we had sent through but when he checked out the web address on my card artwork it went to a blank page.
Mike asked me what the story was and I explained money that as money was tight, I was trying to build my own website in Word Press, but was having no luck.
Mike mentioned that Kwik Kopy builds websites and my immediate reaction was “What a relief!”
Mike arranged to meet me with his designer the very next day.
How did you find the process of developing your website with Kwik Kopy?
I was pretty organised and had all the text written and had several photos too. But I needed advice and help to pull it all together. They asked me about my business, how I saw it positioned and the look and feel that I wanted. Soon after I was given a cost estimate which I was really happy with and gave them the go ahead.
What was the biggest benefit to building your website with Kwik Kopy?
What I liked about dealing with Kwik Kopy is that they listened to me, understood me and gave me a website I couldn’t be happier with. The whole process took two weeks
If I knew then what I know now, I’d say talk to Kwik Kopy, they have something for everyone.
