Supplying files
Setting up a file for print can be complex, especially if you have not done so before. To ensure your job prints the way you want it, follow these tips and always consult your Kwik Kopy Centre before starting big jobs, as it may save you valuable time later.
For more information about print-friendly files, including the vital "Is your file print ready?" checklist, see Supplying artwork files. For information specific to colour printing, see Colour printing guidelines.
Ways to supply your artwork
A wide range of files and formats can be accepted. If you are unsure about how to supply files, contact your local Kwik Kopy Centre.
File formats
While PDF files are preferred, a range of files can generally be accepted, including:
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- MS Word
- MS Powerpoint
- MS Excel
- QuarkXpress
- Corel Draw
- TIFF
- EPS
Always remember to include extensions on your files. Note: Not all Centres accept the above file types. Please check with your local Kwik Kopy first.

USB/memory sticks can also be read at your local Kwik Kopy Centre.
File Storage and Archiving
Kwik Kopy can now store and archive all your files. When you need a reprint it's a simple e-mail or phone call away. What's more, your reprints are guaranteed to be consistent, because not only is your artwork stored, there's also a record of what paper stocks and finishes were used previously.
