The Australian Family Child Care Awards are now in their seventh year, and work to celebrate outstanding early childhood educators and carers and encourage quality of care for the ultimate benefit of Australia's children.

The awards categories include Child Care Educator of the Year, Children's Service Director of the Year, Children's Service of the Year, and the Rising Star Award. The 2011 Australian Family Child Care Awards will be launched in October 2010 and will conclude with an awards ceremony in late April 2011.
