Kwik Kopy Norwood shines at SA & NT PICA Awards
Kwik Kopy Norwood has won Gold at the 2011 South Australia and Northern Territory Printing Industries Craftsmanship Awards (PICA) for their innovative ‘send us your briefs’ campaign with its clever play on words.
The aim of the awards is to emphasise the impact, appeal and effectiveness of well-designed printed material of the highest quality in the South Australia and Northern Territory business environment. Kwik Kopy runs Offset and Digital printing with a host of finishing options that can be completed in-house.
Kwik Kopy Norwood has built a reputation for being a fast turnaround, high quality printer with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. This was reflected in the awards on the night with the team being multiple winners.
In addition to GOLD, Kwik Kopy Norwood went on to win two Silver and one Bronze award.

Owners Shane Skinner and Philip Smith attribute success to their team of dedicated design and production people who have many years’ experience within the industry.
“No job is too big or small for our team,” they said. “The quality of our team allows us to always look for continual improvement in providing a complete service from design and print.”
Shane and Phil have a commitment to using the latest hi-tech equipment and the latest software for smart design and variable print jobs.
“Three of the awards were using a Digital machine HP Indigo 5000, one award was for offset using a Ryobi 4 colour press,” says Phil. “The scratch cards were the biggest job out of the four and was a complex job involving a latex overlay and spot varnishes requiring constant supervision for security reasons.
PICAs are going from strength-to-strength as more companies come to appreciate the value of achieving awards for excellence. As Bob Byrne, Chairman of the PICA Judging Panel reports “This year saw an all time record number of entries for the South Australia and Northern Territory region.”
Kwik Kopy Norwood now receives automatic entry into the National Print Awards for its GOLD award win.
